2023 "The Golden Hour" White Blend 750ml bottle

Our amber wine finally has a proper name! Also hailing from Fenaughty, this blend is Grenache Blanc (66%) and Petit Manseng (34%). We pressed the Manseng directly, but fermented the Grenache Blanc on its skins for about 10 days. The two lots were blended and allowed to finish in tank. This one was the last 2023 to finish fermentation, just this July! The wine shows an intense golden color, and aromas of gooseberry and fresh herbs. It has a medium body (just 11% alc) and finishes with just the right amount of texture, with a strong structural acidic backbone. The Manseng makes itself known here, with its guava flavors and intensity. A very versatile wine with a wide variety of foods, from salmon to roast chicken. 103 cases made. 11.5% alc
